Technical Designer

  Under close supervision of Art Director,

• Design textile and apparel prints according to theme and seasonal fashion trends


• Create flat sketch designs and computer generated graphic layouts with filled flats placements, printed graphics, embroideries, and seasonal logos.


• Produce design and trim sheet, sketches, coordinate pattern making and specifications.


• Create and maintain seasonal color palette and match to color printer.


• Develop new ideas and sketch preliminary designs and motifs of prints.


• Create tech packs and Model Development Sheets (collection details of color, size, stitching, construction and patterns) and ensure product is manufactured according to specifications.


• Routinely communicate and provide technical support to overseas mills and manufacturers during technical product development and pre-production activities.


• Must utilize knowledge of size specs, grading, fittings, pattern making, construction and channel screen separation.


• Proficiency in using Photoshop, Illustrator, in Design and CAD.

REQ: BA in Textile or Fashion Design plus 2 years experience in the job or experience as a Textile/Fashion Designer.
